Somewhere among the myriad worlds there is one which has lost its sun. Now reunited, Kite and Saryth continue on its trail, but the consequences of their past actions reverberate across the worlds behind them...
Kite hadn't wanted to think about General Vorannen again. She and Saryth had escaped his world, albeit not unscathed, and that should have been the end of it. But as their journey continues, it becomes clear that their magic has alerted him to dangerous possibilities. The ways between the worlds are kept secret for good reason, and Kite shouldn't even have shared them with Saryth, never mind revealing them to a powerful sorcerer like Vorannen. But given what happened to Saryth last time they were in Vorannen's world, how can she ask him to go back with her?
It's only when their search for the sun leads them to a cold world where winter has lingered late, and disaster looms over the people, that the threads of their quest converge. Saryth will need all his wits and resolve as it becomes clear that, in order to complete her mission, Kite must face Vorannen once again...
This is an illustrated novelisation of the graphic novels, part two of two.
