Yeah, you're free to add your website url on your image, it's a great way for people to follow up your work if they like your style. But it's advisable to do it discreetly so it doesn't intrude into your picture !

Thanks alot for the welcome! ^_^ i used to have alot of concept work form this project on my site, but i kinda did a review of what i had produced so far when i decided to do this compo. to cut a long story short, i decided i didnt like the main characters design anymore, so i redesigned her from scratch. So, when the compo is over ill add my link to my sig then, ill keep it secret for now

Yes, of course! At the event you must ask for a form to fill in. Please fill it in clearly and get it attached to the back of your piece.

I'm entering this competition aswell and have almost finished my fanart CG piece, but i've come to a dead end when it comes to the background.

I'm hopeless at backgrounds, I was wondering do the pieces need to have a background? or could i just slap on a gradient and call it finished? (as long as it can set the mood for the piece)

Of course not ...it's your piece so it's finished whenever you decide it is. However there will certainly be other images with backgrounds, so it's up to you to decide whether your image is strong enough to compete without a background, or whether it would benefit from a few more hours of work.

My entries are complete! Finally! *50 hours later, stress over* All I have to do now is get them to my dad and have him print them out. And I'm happy to hear we can put our email and stuff on the pics too. I was having a "should I, shoudn't I?" moment about that.

Well, my fanart piece was done ages ago; I may not enter an original piece unless I spew something up at the last minute...

My printer fades my colours. I'm gonna have to submit the original copy of my fanart. Oh well, it'll have a happier life on the display wall than in my dark abyss of a portfolio.

Might be able to go... just found out about this a few days ago and my exams are starting on tuesday. I'm telling myself that it might be good to go and have some fun before hell commences tho.

After an eventful day at Expo and some of us not going on sunday now can we send in the pictures we entred i would love to see who drawed what on the wall. Also i would like people to rate my picture.

Wow, the number of entrants FAR exceeded our expectations. The walls were already half full before 12 midday ! We've had to take down all the entries today to create a clean wall for Sunday. (The entries taken down were sorted into the right categories of course).

Judging is certainly going to be quite fun...in October we just gathered around the wall but this year we'll have to lay down all the entries on tables...will probably take up the entire artist's alley.

You mean show your pictures online? Sure, you are free to do so now since the majority of Sweatdrop members won't be on the internet until Expo ends.
