Good thing there's a new deadline - gives me some time to improve some aspects of my comic.

I was just wondering - if my comic has made it to the shortlist- am I allowed to submit it to this anthology

? Does it not go against the following rule:

2.i The manga must be an original creation which has never been published or publicly displayed before.

It doesn't go against the rules at all as nothing will be released until after the awards ceremony, and if I were to release it in advance, I'd check withthe Embassy beforehand.

Better get scanning, got a comic AND an illustration this time round

Hurray! Guess what? I've been too busy (as usual) so we have a DEADLINE EXTENSION!!

The deadline for the next publication is being extended to January 10th 2012.

Our artbook is looking for the following:

Full colour single illustrations (Original Characters ONLY please, fan art is not acceptable) <--- want these lots!
Homeless Manga Jiman 2011 entries.
Stand alone short manga style comics.
Articles or features on anything related to Easterly goodies.

Pop them off to nonrepro (at) gmail (dot) com, A4, 300dpi files, or low res PDFs/JPGs for previews.

We've already had some deliciously exciting stuff come in so thank you everyone who has submitted so far!

Alright, it's time for an awesome guide to Great Yarmouth... XD

Far from completing my failed Jiman entry I appear to have acheived less than 3000 words of badly-written reviews of small press comics over these holidays. Just 4 more comics to do! ...then 15,000-odd words of a historical story, 3 pages of spy comic and an entire 'newspaper' of tabloid-style ravings. In 2 and a bit days!

Against all expectations, especially my own, I've actually managed to make some decent progress on my submission today XD. Here's the beginnings of the title page:

Oops sorry, I meant the whole finished book. I'm having visions of 100 pages of cool comics, stories and articles.

Sadly through it looks like the 8 pages of my own won't now be finished in time

I am Sorry - i will try to explain.

Some time ago, it happened to me on an other forum. I replied to a topic. A day later, I wanted continue reading. But in the meantime there were quite a lot of other entries and it cost me quite a while and effort to find the headline and the topic again.
How do I get back to that position ? Do you have a tip? At least in principle ?

In any case, Wabeanym, I can't imagine you're having that much trouble with keeping track of this forum; it's very slow moving. But you can subscribe to threads if you want, or simply keep them open in your browser.
