That was a fun podcast!

Thanks for the mention of Legends!
Regarding the non-shinyness of IndieManga books, it's not that we have a very low opinion of ourselves, it's just that we like to use matte lamination rather than shiny!
But thank you for saying we have shiny souls. We are shiny really, we just hide it behind a pretentious, arty matte finish.

1984 is one of my favourite books. Hearing its author referred to as 'Orwell-chan' really made my day

Just finished it!

Comic names is the perfect topic for this because i myself have been angsting over this:
I have a smallish story in mind and i have not the faintest idea what to call it. It's got a lot of white in it (the main character's hair is white and there's lots of snow) but there's also black (my baddie) and blood and fighting and angst and big big drama.
I kinda wanted to incorporate the idea of black and white but definitely not the word "monochrome" I also kind of like the idea of a comic that has an adjective and then a noun as a title. The best that I've been able to come up with is "White Shadows" but it doesn't stick, it sounds kinda boring and it doesn't google well.
Any thoughts and suggestions, all would be appreciated

Hmm, how about something like 'Magpie'? 'Bipolar'? 'Obscura'? 'Chequered'? 'Chiaroscuro'? 'Contrast'? or something like "Shadow and Snow"? "Snowflakes in Darkness"? Try brainstorming words related to the concept of light and dark or black and white.

interesting podcast. great theme too. I always get stuck naming characters too (luckily most the stuff I work on is short enough for the characters not always need names)

thanks for the mention and positive inspired comics stuff.

I'm planning on looking into setting up some kind of paypal shop for inspired's anthologies. they should end up being cheap (but obviously post and package will be added)

We also might be able to sell some copies at a event in london in november. but I suspect most people here will be burnt out after london MCM. but I will post up the information when I find out this is definitely happening.
