here are a couple of concepts from thre r.p.k lookbook, i'm trying to draw like this more often as it dosnt take long for me to do. i just dont have the hang of it yet.

this is a remix to something i did last year. i wasn't happy with the overall look so i gave the background an extensive makeover and cut down the lighting. i used an image from one of my dover bookshop CDs.

although i still intend on doing the tear up comic, i wont be starting it until i am 100% happy with the characters and story. so to keep myself busy i've decided to work on a story that i can work without any limits or rules. this way i can concentrate on improving the quality of my pages and work on characters that i actually own. this here is one of the main villains. i just gotta write out the name and profile.
i will try to start some pages by the weekend hopefully.

here's another one from the online databook im doing. took around 2 days to do. full profile for the character is on the link below. i should be able to churn out two a week if my pens dont run out.

couple more bits and bobs.

first one is the first half of something i did last year. the backdrop will be done on a separate piece of paper.

second is another character for my freestyle project. i shall write up her profile later on during the week. it was a real pain in the bum to do and is riddled with mistakes. i'm gonna have to simplify it for future pages.

i did the pencils for this last year. it was for a gift art for the views on deviant art. quite a long has passed since so i decided to finally finish it. background will be done on a seperate piece and merged later.

hi peeps

aint posted in a while due to various commitments. ive been doing some non manga related stuff for the last couple of weeks so i havnt really been able to get in my stride but now im back.
i will prolly show some of that stuff once a few issues have been sorted with clients.

heres a new design. its based on a idea i came up with years ago. i found the hairstyle for her this year.

im bout to start pages for the introductory issue of my comic. it is mainly a fantasy story based on greek mythology. first pic is the team medic hanz kruger. his left thigh is a bit exaggerated compare to how i normally do anatomy so in the end i just left it that way for added effect. 2nd piece is for the title and the third is a illustration to go with it. the three headed fire breathing dog skull is supposed to represent cerebus the guardian of the underworld. i may have gone a bit over the top with the flames so i may use something more basic for the final cover.

on the third pic i completely screwed up the left hand. i tried to cover it by extending the sleeve but i fear i may have made it worse. either way i will just have to get used to drawing quicker.
i hope to finish it by the end of the week.

this was more or less an experiment in doing a fully computer coloured piece. despite the errors there are some aspects i will like to explore.

first pic is rahlo thunder who is the main protagonist of my comic. i was using my usual stlye of exaggerated proportions for this pic. was going to add a design on the jacket but at this point in time i dont think it is neccasary. i have enough characters to start pages now.

second pic i was working from a photo for the pose. certain parts i had to improvise. if i cant think of a pose from memory then i will use whatever sources i have available for the sake of time. she is kagerow from the earlier comic project i was doing.

i may just do one issue each and see which one people like the most.

im still experimenting with computer colours. im gonna go back to completing unfinished stuff so ill have to stop experimenting for a while.
