Yes, chapter 5 of Patchwork Sky (and the end of the first volume) is finally done! You can read it here on toothycat.net, or here on Sweatdrop's very own webcomic reader
![]() Here are some pages to whet your appetite I've enjoyed this, but I'm looking forward even more to what comes next ^^ |

Hi there^^ I've just done what I said I'd do and read this last part with a massive mug of tea and a stack of ginger nuts. Thought I'd share my thoughts on it.
I have to say I felt really satisfied by it! It was a lovely rounding off of what i felt was a really complimentary sequel for LftS First off I'm really glad that Evertine got a chance to help things, I think her character really benefitted from her part in the ending. I also liked the fact she went out of her way to find Kite, those two were great together. And on that subject, the bit with the mop: BEST PANEL EVER! Genuinely snorted into my tea there!I also really liked how Saryth's situation worked out in the end and that conversation he had with his tutor! I thought that was just perfect. Some really sound advice was given, though I wonder how well Saryth will take it? Does this mean there's more to come from these two? God, I sure hope so!It was a lovely read, and you can put me down for a copy of the GN when it comes out! ![]()

Thanks for your lovely detailed comments, Mimi - I'm glad it worked and that you enjoyed it
![]() Yes, I think there will be more. The next world has been in my head for a while. I'm not sure when, though... there's just too many other things to draw ![]() The GN won't be out for May Expo - I don't have the money or the time, sadly. Hopefully I'll manage it some time in the summer or autumn, though ^^ |
