I rarely venture outside of London for events, so will be intersting to see how things go. Only a little scared lol.

Ooh I went to a Birmingham convention before. This was in a "studenty" area, so was around fairly wide streets with blocks of student flats set well back from the road. No chance of muggers jumping from doorways!
BUT don't make eye contact with anybody in the vicinity of the station XD

Its very nice to see some comics people traveling for it. Birmingham feels like a bit of a con desert since BICS has scaled down. We're only left with a small zine event and the memorabilia shows

I'll be there with Inspired all day on saturday

but I can only make it for about half an hour on Sunday morning - because when I asked for a saturday shift to be swapped they swapped it for Sunday. it will have to do. (and a part of me is far too scared to spend April 1st in the presence of storm troopers)

Should be good. I think its the first Birmingham Expo - normally its just Memorabilia, but this year they're running an expo alongside it.
