Replaying Mother 3. Tis an awesome game... Shame they made Lucas seem like such a wimp in Smash Bros Brawl cos he's a great lead character in the game.

When i am free then i like to play game, Star Control 2 and Star Flight are two of my favorite games. Sadly, I didn't play either of them until I was about 15 years old. I would've really enjoyed playing Star Control 2 as a kid.

Deus Ex is very good. I'm not even playing, just watching, but even then it is good.
I'm playing Breath of Fire on the PSP, a way old school j-rpg. Loving it! Random battles are a pain though. XD |

I've played maybe three recently. I just finished half of Muramasa: The Demon Blade. I loved it. It has two stories you can play but i played the female's story. I played a bit of Samuri Sword three but I didn't do so well... And a friend told me about the Link games. Right now I'm playing Twilight Princess. LOVE IT!

Hmm, I've been playing:
Mario Kart 7 /3DS Mario 3D Land /3DS Sonic Generations /3DS Professor Layton & the Spectre's Call /DSi Mario & Sonic at the London Olympic Games /Wii The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword /Wii I've been jumping between all six. I only just started Skyward Sword today and I'm loving the vibrant colours and I don't think I've ever seen Zelda and Link look so expressive, it's kinda cute. Almost played every event in Mario & Sonic, and I'm finding the London Party mode addictive. I'm close to fully finishing Mario 3D Land, I just need to finish every level with Luigi and get a couple of those gold flags. Onto Mirror Mode for Mario Kart 7 and struggling to get the 3 stars ranking. And just need to unlock about 80 missions on Generations. Lastly moving forward slowly in Professor Layton, but I shouldn't mention anything specific as I might spoil it for others. |

I've been overdosing on Cave Story+, now available on Steam.
It's a neat little platformer that originally appeared as homebrew freeware* several years ago and acquired a cult following. Now it's been ported to Steam and given a lick of polish with updated graphics and music (you can also play with the original graphics and sound track). Also: Achievements. *It should still be available in its original incarnation, but bear in mind its 640X480 pixels will be tiny on a modern machine.

Is anybody thinking of getting Final Fantasy XIII-2 when it comes out? I was intrigued by this game at first, but then I found out that it's going to cost £49.99! FIFTY POUNDS for a game! I thought they were really pushing it selling the last one for forty, but this just about made my head explode...
Maybe once it goes on sale, in what, maybe six months' time, but for now it's a pass for me. Am also a bit wary of FF follow-up games since FFX-2, which, let's be honest here, wasn't exactly Square Enix at their finest. So yeah, I'm curious if anyone's been planning on getting it, watching Japanese gameplay on youtube, has any thoughts about it? ![]() |

Assassin's Creed Revelations. It's just as good as ever, but it feels slightly slimmer comapared to previous offerings. Not complaining though as I love eeeet! XD

Playing Final Fantasy XIII-2. It's pretty good. I've completed the main storyline now, but there's a lot more to do.
On the downside, the ending doesn't give a lot of closure and feels like sequel bait and it lacks the fine tactical balance of the first game. On the upside though, there's a lot more freedom and exploration with more customisable party mechanics, loads of good sidequests that tie into the plot, mutliple endings etc. I personally thought FF13 was the stronger game overall, but I'd totally understand if people liked this one better. It takes the mission-based structure of FFX-2, but doesn't bother with the campiness so much, the overall plot is a little lighter than 13's, but the ending is so grimdark you'll be left in a corner rocking and muttering to yourself. ![]() |

Just got Journey for PSN last week.
Probably the most incredible game I've ever played. The atmosphere, the simple connection to another anonymous player, the emotional breadth of the adventure. Trailer here, but I recommend just getting it and not spoiling anything: Journey Trailer Anybody else taken the journey? enjoyed thatgamecompany's other games?
