| Biography: |
After trying out various careers as a musician, author, mental hospital cleaner, petrol pump attendant, data entry clerk, teacher, DJ, radio actor and payphone debugger, I at last landed a job as a video games programmer with no intention of becoming a professional artist. Programming is where the money is. Art is very much the way I wind down after a hard day’s work, not that anyone who’s ever witnessed me trying to get a ‘zine finished by a print deadline would believe that. I like to feel that my work points out various incongruities in fandom and life beyond, and analytically satirises the neo-persicutave attitude that we take towards... ...look I just like drawing cute people in various states of undress, okay? That’s just an excuse. I probably need help, but I can’t be bothered. |
