| Biography: |
Hewooo~ I started out drawing dinosaur pictures when I was 8 and became involved with my junior schools comic club, drawing a comedy/action comic called American dinosaur. I concentrated on my art all the way through senior school, being known as "the ginger kid who draws good" and having people make silly puns out of my name (Stephanie drew-it >.<). I knew I wanted to draw but I couldn't find a proper goal to set myself and I really struggled through my first year of college. That is when I found manga, well actually my friends sat me in front of 5 ova's of 3x3 eyes >.< and that was it for me...I was hooked! It kind of felt as if I was supposed to discover manga, or really it found me, the whole style of manga just suited the way that I wanted to draw! I sailed through my final year of college with my manga "Hidenka" and a short comic about me stealing a Gundam XD. After a year of jobless-ness I got hired as a dental nurse, which is fun in a weird kinda way, that was three years ago and now I'm the head nurse at my practice. Using most of my spare time ( and money) I finally started on a serious project "Mango Milkshake" and that’s what got me here o^^o.
I'm very critical of my art and always striving to improve, I hope to be a productive member of this inspiring group! |
