I am an aspiring artist, though I do not believe I am quite as good as the other Sweatdrop members, I’m getting there ne!
I discovered manga and anime around 10, through dear old Pokemon and Digimon (heh.. what a surprise!) but somehow that broadened by picking up a handy little magazine about Digimon that had an article on Japanese comics!
Since then it kind of ...grew. And I decided to start a manga comic...and then we found SWEATDROP! *saviours!* And so, from a small meeting at an anime con onwards, I finally joined ^_^ *thankies!* Since then, I’ve done lots of different manga, and have discovered a lot of new manga and genres... including shounen ai and yaoi ^^;;. Just recently I’ve also discovered more about the Japanese culture, and I’m learning a lot of Japanese and these days I seem to be on as much Japanese websites as I am English! But through this I’ve also discovered loads of great new manga fresh from Japan that no-one else will know about for a while heheh... say, if you want to know about them feel free to ask me ^^!
I now really hope to be a really famous and well known manga artist one day, and the way Sweatdrop is going, I’m sure we'll all achieve this goal! I honestly wouldn’t trade any amount of money or fame with a bigger company for Sweatdrop, and I’m so proud to be a part of it~! |
