| Biography: |
I’ve been interested in anime ever since I saw optimus prime transform into truck, at the age of 4 that scared the hell out of me. I watched a few more items over the next few years like Cities of Gold and even Laputa without realizing that they actually were from Japan but liked the way they looked. I only seriously got into anime around the mid nineties when magazines like SuperPlay and AnimeUK showed me more information about them. The first major series that I followed was Ranma ½ (Hong Kong dub) and I have been hooked ever since.
I got interested in drawing when the Viz serialization of Maison Ikkoku ended and I was eager to see more. I tried doing a small Doujin based on it but decided to drop it after a while. I’ve been sketching on and off ever since then. Besides anime my other major passions have been video games and RPG’s. I’ve always liked the fantasy theme which was why I decided to try and start another series (Duel Class).
I’m aiming for my work to go on for a while and tend to be quite dedicated once I set my mind to something. Hopefully I’ll produce a lot more stuff in the years to come and I’m proud to have the sweatdrop label on my work. |
